Slavček

The Slavček estate dates back to 1769. The farm was probably named after the nightingale birds singing in the surrounding area. The farm is a fine example of a tradition of agriculture in many different branches, but viticulture and wine-making have always been the main branches. The vineyards have always been situated on the fringes of hilltops on a very steep slope, with organic cultivation. The soil is rocky and lapis lazuli, which gives the wines their characteristic mineral flavour.

The wines are produced according to organic principles. No pesticides or herbicides are used in the vineyards, only copper- and sulphur-based products. And even then in the smallest possible doses.

In the cellar, they are opposed to high doses of sulphur, using the weakest, so that the wines have richer shades. The wines have richer and more intense aromas.
