Description

Classic method, yeast ripening time for at least 40 months.

Sparkling wine from the chardonnay variety. In doing so, they want to show a full term chardonnay from the Terrior Dolenjska Location Pesca, where there is mainly a flysch base. 30% ripened in one year old oak barrel, clearing with natural setting. No filtration.

The nose is dominated by citrus fruits and a ripe pineapple, caramel is detected in the mouth. Rich, complex and gentle, full of dense and fine bubbles.

Another masterpiece of Slapšakov.

Domaine Slapšak

The family estate, Domaine Slapšak, is located in Telče, in the heart of the Dolenjske hills.

The sunny slopes of the estate, at an altitude of 500m, and the lapis-crystalline and calcareous soil, provide favourable conditions for the production of clear and crystalline wines.

Until recently, the family has been involved in the production of still wines typical of the area.

A few years ago, however, the winery took a turn when François, a French oenologist who graduated from the University of Champagne in Reims (France), joined the family. François brought with him a new style and thus opened up new horizons: this was the start of Domaine Slapšak.
