Biodynamic production.<\/p>\n

It was harvested in October from vineyards that were around 30 years old. All the grapes are dried together for a month, then macerated for 20 days by spontaneous fermentation at an uncontrolled temperature. Maturation and malolactic fermentation took place for 60 months in used 225l barrels, on fine lees. It is matured for a further 12 months in stainless steel before bottling. Bottled without filtration.<\/p>\n

It is a deep ruby red colour. Intense, fine aromas of blackberry jam, prunes, savoury spices, chocolate, coffee, leather and sweet spices. The palate is elegant, intense, soft, sweet with nicely rounded tannins. With a very long finish.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
