The wines remain on fine lees unusually long, even after ten years and more, because only then does the extract rich teran calm so much that it allows for degreing.<\/p>\n
Basic wine matures in wooden barrels, and then in a bottle on fine lees in the ideal environment of the underground cellar, a former water reservoir for the supply of steam locomotives at the \u0160tanjel railway station.<\/p>\n
The wine is distinctly dark in color, rich foam and sparkling bubbles that are most expressed in original narrow flutes.
