The grapes come from a southern location, from sandy loam soils. After fermentation, maceration takes place for 3 weeks and the wine is then aged on fine lees for at least another 30 months. Bottled without filtration.<\/p>\n

It is of a shimmering ruby red colour. The nose is medium-bodied with a plethora of exotic spices, roasted aromas, red fruits, pepper, graphite. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied, with a pleasant acidity typical of cooler climates, a pleasant tannic grip and well-integrated wood-ripening notes.<\/p>\n
