NEW! Bela gora estate

Bela Gora Estate is a small family wine story that continues a tradition dating back to 1950, when the vineyard was planted by Franc Kačičnik. Today it is cultivated by Martina Strniša and Radojko Pelengić, who name their wines in his honor. The estate lies near the Žiče Charterhouse, from which the name Bela Gora originates.

Their independent wine journey began with the 2017 vintage, and since then they have focused on mature, dry wines with lower sulfur, strongly tied to the vineyard and vintage. They farm around 1.5 hectares with about 4,500 vines (Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Yellow Muscat, Blaufränkisch), combining tradition with modern cellar approaches. Wines from Bela Gora are expressive, clean, and character-driven — a reflection of knowledge, patience, and place.
