Batič
The first Batič wines were born in the 16th century, shaped into being by the experienced hands of the monks of Batič estate in Šempas.
The warm winds blowing off the Adriatic Sea make this area perfect for cultivating grapes and other produce.
The Batic farm and vineyard is known for organically grown fruits and grapes, and this is reflected the wines they produce, which are made with the same all-natural philosophy.The vineyards are not fertilized nor are any chemicals used – the ground is seeded with grass and the vines are thickly planted.
And in the end they said visiting the vineyard is like visiting a friend. They know what nature desires, and she knows what they wish for.
