Pinela reserva

Pinela is a variety that, because of its delicate thin skin, requires the right positioning and a great deal of love from the vine grower. It is planted in selected southern locations, where the climate in vipava ensures a good level of ventilation.

The grapes are harvested at the end of September. It was partially enriched with noble botrytis. The crushed pineapple grapes were macerated for 21 days at october temperatures. Maturation followed in old oak barrels of 600 litres. The wine was bottled unfiltered in August.

It has a delicate golden yellow colour. The bouquet is medium-toned, ripe, a little spruce-tipped. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied, with a nice oily texture, aromas of herbs, fruit and flowers intermingling. Calm, delicate, soft.
