Artwork Malvazija

In the Artwork range, all the wines are produced by maceration over several days. In the case of this Malvasia, it took place for almost three weeks, but with selected yeasts and at controlled temperatures. The wine was then aged for another two years in 225l oak barrels, including some new ones.

It is a straw-coloured old gold, but at first sight it deserves to be called an amber wine. The bouquet is dominated by balsamic and resinous notes. They include hints of dried fruit, floral honey, baked apples, roasted nuts. On the palate, mineral, rich, still youthfully fresh, in a harmony of acidity and alcohol, which emphasises the fullness of the body with its warmth. The tannins are perfectly fine-tuned and allow a long aftertaste, during which warm balsamic notes return, including caramel, vanilla and cinnamon.
