Kristančič Pavo white
Description
After harvesting and fermentation, all three varieties are aged in barriques for about one year. This is followed by typing according to the taste of the winemaker.
The yellow colour already indicates that it is a rich wine that has been matured in barrels. The aroma confirms the wine's contact with the barrel and expresses its fruitiness and freshness. The aromas range from yeasty to vanilla, caramel and woody notes. On the palate, the wine is structured, the acids and tannins complementing each other beautifully and contributing to its character.
The predominant character is that of chardonnay, which harmonises beautifully with the other two varieties, making the wine broader and more elegant. A wonderfully complex cuvée, ripe and youthful at the same time, with multi-layered aromas and an extremely long aftertaste.
