Grozdje zanj prihaja iz njihovih najstarejših in najboljših vinogradov. Po končani fermentaciji zori 24 mesecev v barrique sodčkih večinoma novih.

Je globoke z odtenki rubinasto rdeče barve in kaže na njegovo dolgo zorenje in kompleksnost. Aroma potrdi dozorelost, moč je zaznati črne sadeže, usnje, dim in tobak. Okus je izredno mehak, bogat ter ob enem svež in saden. Eleganten stil vina, z mehkimi tanini ter obilico strukture. ​​
