Description

The rebula is considered an indigenous Goriška Brda variety.

The wine is a straw yellow color, clear and bright, with a greenish touch. The smell is clean and fine, quite rich and resembles citrus fruits, peaches and tropical fruits. Expresses freshness and vibrancy; Youth and fruity also show good taste.

Shorter yeast ripening contributes to its elegance and complexity. Kristančič rebula is a wine with beautifully balanced acids, slightly mineral notes and pure aftertaste. It is definitely a wine that carries the pride, tradition and charm of Brda land.

Medana in the Goriška Brda. A characteristic village on the top of the hill, with houses spread around the church. On the slopes, the vineyards face the sun. They are small, each has a slightly different orientation towards the sun and is planted a little differently.

Many of these vineyards belong to the family Kristančič. Kristančič’s farmer is one of the oldest in the Brda, and wine has been bottled under the family name since 1988.
