General terms of business
The General Terms of Business of the online shop www.vinoteka.sodcek.si have been compiled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-UPB2) and on the basis of the recommendations of the Slovenia Chamber of Commerce (GZS) and the international codes of conduct for online and electronic business.
The buyer confirms that he/she is familiar with the full wording of the General Terms of Business on the website www.vinoteka.sodcek.si and that he/she fully agrees with them.

ACCESSIBILITY OF INFORMATION
The provider undertakes to provide the buyer with the following information:
- Identity of the company (name and place of business)
- Contact details which enable fast and effective communication by the purchaser and provider (e-mail, telephone number)
- Essential characteristics of goods
- Conditions for delivery of goods (costs, method and deadline for delivery)
- Clear and unequivocally marked prices and clear labelling of whether costs include VAT and delivery costs
- Methods of payment
- Length of validity of the offer
ORDERS AND ORDER CONFIRMATIONS
Upon receipt of an order the provider shall check the availability of the goods. The buyer shall receive an invoice by e-mail. The purchaser is responsible for the data given in the process of placing the order.
Prices are in euros inclusive of VAT. The list price for each product does not include delivery costs.
The provider reserves the right to change prices. The price that is published on the day of the order applies. All prices are only applicable for orders via the online store.
METHODS OF PAYMENT, DELIVERY AND DELIVERY COSTS
The provider accepts the following methods of payment:
- Payment upon receipt of a pro forma invoice – the purchaser receives a pro forma invoice by e-mail. The order will be dispatched upon receipt of payment.
- Payment upon delivery – payment upon delivery is only possible in cash; the cost of such a payment is EUR 1.50
Deliveries are made by our contracted partner DPD. Goods may also be collected in person at the company’s place of business – Linhartov trg 7, 4240 Radovljica – daily between 9am and 9pm except on Sundays and public holidays.
The cost of delivery within Slovenia is €5. Delivery is free for orders with a total value above €50.00 including VAT.
Deliveries outside of Slovenia are charged according to the official price list of our contracted partner.
In principle, deliveries are usually made within 2 to 3 working days. In cases where the goods are not in stock, the provider shall inform the buyer and both parties shall agree on a deadline for delivery.
In cases where the provider dispatches ordered products on time, the provider is not responsible for any overdue deliveries made by the contracted delivery company.
The delivery company is responsible for any damage to goods. In the event of damaged or lost shipments, the provider shall provide new goods immediately after receiving notice.
WITHDRAWAL OF PURCHASE AND REFUNDS OF PURCHASE PRICE
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 15 days of the receipt of goods. The buyer can return the goods on the basis of a notification to the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org. Goods must be returned to the provider no later than within 30 days following delivery of the notice of withdrawal.
Returned goods must be returned undamaged, in its original packaging and in an unchanged quantity to the address: Aleš Čebašek s.p., Linhartov trg 8, 4240 Radovljica. The cost of returning goods is borne by the buyer.
Upon receipt of the goods, which must be undamaged and in an unchanged quantity, the provider will refund all payments made immediately, at the latest within 15 days of the return of the goods.
On returning the goods the buyer must enclose the receipt for the goods together with his/her personal information and bank account details to where the purchase price will be refunded.
REFUSAL OF ORDERS
The provider reserves the right to refuse orders which it deems it will be unable to fulfil.
In the event that the packaging in which the buyer received an order is damaged, if part of the order is missing or if there are signs that it has been tampered with, the buyer shall lodge a claim with the delivery company DPD and also inform the provider. Together with our contracted delivery partner we will ensure that your complaint will be dealt with in a timely manner.
SECURITY OF THE ONLINE STORE
The provider ensures the appropriate technological means and security-protection systems that provide adequate protection against loss or misuse of data.
PROTECTION OF DATA
The provider undertakes to permanently protect all personal data. Data will be used exclusively for the management of invoices, offers and other necessary documentation. User data will not be shared with any third parties. The provider requires all the information for the smooth processing of orders and any possible notices about orders.
The following information is required to make an online store purchase:
– telephone number
– e-mail address
– postal address
COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
The provider is obliged to establish an effective complaints handling system. The provider will endeavour to deal with any complaint as soon as possible and inform the buyer. The provider respects the applicable consumer protection legislation.
The online store reserves the right to change the General Terms of Business at any time and without prior notice.
The issue and delivery of wine and spirits can only be carried out for persons over the age of 18. Therefore, the buyer must be aged 18 or over at the time of delivery, otherwise, the provider will withdraw from the contract. By agreeing to the General Terms of Business, the buyer confirms that he/she is above the age of 18.
