The Cigoj homestead has a tradition of viticulture that goes back centuries, as the ancestors have been carefully cultivating wine for centuries. The bottles of wine found buried in the ground during the renovation of the cellar are proof of this.

The tradition of wine-growing is preserved and a wide variety of wines is offered. They are very proud of the old indigenous varieties of klarnica and zelen. The cellar also nurtures rebula, malvasia, merlot and cabernet sauvignon.
