Description

The cold maceration took 6 hours. The wine matured in steel containers for 8 months.

It is a straw yellow color. Gentle scents of ripe fruit (apples, citrus fruits, peaches) and flowers.

Full taste, harmonious, pleasantly warm wine with a long, slightly creamy aftertaste.

Goriška Brda is a hilly region in the far west of Slovenia. In this landscape there is the family estate Ščurek. The winery is located in the village of Plešivo, which belongs to the village community Medana.

Today, with the help of five sons, Stojan cultivates 24 hectares of vineyards. Most of the property is in the Italian part of the Brda, and the best positions are Grotišče, Dugo, Mahober, Jazbine, Jordana, Gredič and Kozlink.
