Description

The grapes were processed quickly, without aeration and with minimal mechanical stress on the grapes and must. The fermentation took place for three weeks in steel tanks at a temperature below 15ºC. After fermentation, the wine remained on fine lees. The lees were stirred for two months to bring out the fullness of flavour.

On the nose, we detect pleasant aromas of fresh pear, spices and citrus. The wine's moderate acidity and mineral character work in harmony on the palate. Dry, rich oily texture.

Verus was founded by three friends, Rajko Žličar, Danilo Šnajder and Božidar Grabovac.

They combined family vineyards, knowledge and work, and in spring 2007 equipped a wine cellar in the premises of the former bakery. They share a commitment to family tradition, since their parents and grandparents have been closely associated with vineyards and wine.
