The Erzetič estate in Višnjevik was designed by Martin Erzetič, after whom the homestead is still called Martin’s. In recent years, the wines have been made by Andrej Erzetič, who was handed over the reins of the farm by his father Aleksij, and to whom they were entrusted by his father Anton a few decades before.

Each generation has its own vision, but none of them deviates from the family values of diligence, working together and constant improvement in the vineyard and cellar.

In recent years, they have decided to adapt themselves even more to nature. They advocate sustainable, organic viticulture, which they have confirmed by obtaining the organic farm certificate.

The Erzetič family’s speciality is the ageing of their wines in large clay amphorae dug into the ground, which they use for the riper wines, in addition to barriques, and for fresh wines with extended ageing on fine lees.
