Description

The grapes come from the terraced sunny slope of the Lapornate land of the waterfalls of the Slappen Hills, which is especially pleasing to her. The harvest was held in the opimal maturity of the grapes. This is followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature on fine lees and then another seven month ripening in stainless steel tanks.

It is a gentle golden yellow color. The flower is quite expressed, still youthful. Beautiful variety. Honey, white flowers, lemon, slightly dried apricots. Dry, middle body, higher acids. A little oiled texture in the mouth. Calm, delicious, more complex pinella.

Marc

Marc is a family vineyard farm from Slap near Vipava. The vineyards are planted in beautiful sunny locations above the village. Currently, the fourth generation is working in the vineyards.

The village is known as the “village with the most Zelen (autochthonous variety) in the world”, which is why it is given special attention. In addition to autochtonous Zelen, special attention is also paid to the other autochtonous variety Pinela from Vipava, for which the 2019 vintage was awarded with a platinum medal at the Decanter WWA assessment.

The other wines ripening in their cellar also receive respectful attention. Excellent soil, optimal microclimate combined with an ear for vine and wine is their recipe for a successful wine route.
