Description

For this wine, they choose the best grapes, which, after completing the controlled fermentation, separately by varieties, ripens for another 18 months in Barrique barrels.

It is a medium deep golden yellow color. The flower is aromatic, emphasized. Both fruit, peaches, apricots. Dry, moderate acids, middle body. The texture is oily, and in the mouth the character is again quite pronounced, juicy. Even on wet stone. Maybe a little too fruit for anyone, but convinces the wine for a clear, positive definition. With a long decline.

Marc

Marc is a family vineyard farm from Slap near Vipava. The vineyards are planted in beautiful sunny locations above the village. Currently, the fourth generation is working in the vineyards.

The village is known as the “village with the most Zelen (autochthonous variety) in the world”, which is why it is given special attention. In addition to autochtonous Zelen, special attention is also paid to the other autochtonous variety Pinela from Vipava, for which the 2019 vintage was awarded with a platinum medal at the Decanter WWA assessment.

The other wines ripening in their cellar also receive respectful attention. Excellent soil, optimal microclimate combined with an ear for vine and wine is their recipe for a successful wine route.
