Description

The Herga premium Pinot noir represents the ultimate in pinot noir. It is produced only in good vintages. With this wine, they are looking for a 'classic' expression of the pinot noir of the cold Styrian climate.

The wine is aged for 24 months in barrique casks before bottling. It is a delicate garnet colour, with a medium-accentuated, ripe bouquet. It is reminiscent of wild berries, forest fruits, smoke and forest undergrowth. It is dry on the palate, with the elegant character of a pinot noir from cold places.
