Description

After the harvest, the varieties are fermented separately and matured for about 8 months in used 225l barique barrels.

It is golden yellow in colour. The bouquet is a combination of dried apricots, nuts and spices with subtle vanilla notes, creating a delicate palette of flavours with mineral notes and a rich aftertaste.

The farm is located in the village of Zalošče in the heart of the Vipava valley. Excellent locations and well-preserved vineyards are the greatest wealth and foundation for the production of good wines. They stretch on the slope above the Vipava River. The wine-growing tradition of the Saksida family goes back to the past.

Their vineyards lie on the slopes of Lepenik, Gmajna, Lisičnik and Špegla. Varieties which grow in their vineyards are; Chardonnay, Pinot gris, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Ribolla, Pinot noir, Zelen, Barbera, Pinot blanc and Malvasia.
