Description

Indigenous Slovenian variety.

After harvesting, fermentation and then maturation for 6 months in inox containers.

It has a delicate golden yellow colour. The bouquet is intense, youthful, pear-like, also apricot-like, also sage-like. Not completely dry on the palate, higher acids, delicate.

The farm is located in the village of Zalošče in the heart of the Vipava valley. Excellent locations and well-preserved vineyards are the greatest wealth and foundation for the production of good wines. They stretch on the slope above the Vipava River. The wine-growing tradition of the Saksida family goes back to the past.

Their vineyards lie on the slopes of Lepenik, Gmajna, Lisičnik and Špegla. Varieties which grow in their vineyards are; Chardonnay, Pinot gris, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Ribolla, Pinot noir, Zelen, Barbera, Pinot blanc and Malvasia.
