It has a distinct fruity character, a little tannins and slightly higher acids and alcohol. It requires excellent, sunny position and low reed, only in this way they can produce the right Barbero with the smell of cherry, currants and forest fruits.

The taste is fresh, lively and rich, in the background we detect dry plums and jams. Due to its low tannins and pronounced fruit, it is also great even if it matures only for a short time in stainless steel containers, and due to higher alcohol and extract, it also develops well with aging in oak barrels.
