Description

Biodynamic production.

After the harvest in mid-October, the grapes are placed in wooden crates to dry for five months. This is followed by a longer maceration period and then maturation for 8 years in new barriques. The barriques are matured for a further year in inox containers before bottling. Without filtration.

It is garnet red in colour with orange tints, the result of the longer maturation in a wooden barrel. The bouquet is reminiscent of sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, raisins, dried fruit, chocolate and marzipan. Sweet, dense and intense on the palate, with moderate acidity to balance the sweetness. The aftertaste is very long, with dried pears
coffee.
