Description

The wine was aged for 18 months on fine lees in large 3500l. slavonian oak barrels.

A noticeable lemon-yellow colour. The medium-bodied but broad, varied and intertwined bouquet offers notes of continental fruits such as apples and pears, notes of white flowers and a slight woody note that further expands the bouquet.

On the palate it is dry with a buttery texture, fuller-bodied and firm with a wonderfully pronounced hint of pomegranate.

The Dveri-Pax winery continues the more than 800-year-old Benedictine tradition of winemaking in north-eastern Slovenia. With respect for nature and tradition, and following the trends in the wine industry, they cultivate 73 hectares of their own vineyards.

The vines are cultivated in a nature-friendly way. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently separated from the stalks, and then their knowledge, experience and tradition are successfully combined with the most modern wine-making technologies.
