Description

After 2 weeks of maceration, the wine matured for 24 months in new and used barriers of french wood. Unfiltered.

The color is delicate, still ruby red with shades of pomegranate. The medium -focused nose reveals the inviting and delicate varietal notes of blue pinot, notes, a fine inviting and youthful flower, in which the notes of ripe fresh red fruits, fine smoke notes, ripe berries intertwine.

Gentle yet rich tannins, nicely matured, with a long decline.

The Dveri-Pax winery continues the more than 800-year-old Benedictine tradition of winemaking in north-eastern Slovenia. With respect for nature and tradition, and following the trends in the wine industry, they cultivate 73 hectares of their own vineyards.

The vines are cultivated in a nature-friendly way. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently separated from the stalks, and then their knowledge, experience and tradition are successfully combined with the most modern wine-making technologies.

Maturing the grapes results in wines that are characterised by a wonderful harmony of freshness, delicate fruit flavours and the quality of each varietal.
