Description

After the harvest of perfectly healthy grapes, the wine was macerated for a longer period and then matured in French oak barrels.

It has a deep golden, slightly amber colour. On the nose, there are spices and herbal notes, wet stone, overripe stone fruit and, in shades, secondary notes reminiscent of a delicate hint of bread crust and butter. On the palate, the minerality and complexity of the wine itself are surprising. Slightly perceptible spices are interwoven with herbal notes throughout, and there is no shortage of autolytic notes, accompanied by beautifully integrated tannins from start to finish. Very mineral.

The grapes are ripened in the famous wine-growing areas of the Štajerska region of Slovenia, more specifically in the Haloze and Srednje Slovenske gorice sub-regions. The vineyards are spread over the steep and mostly terraced slopes of the left and right banks of the river Drava. It ripens on the tops of hills up to 400 m above sea level.

The young team is constantly updated on modern technological developments in wine production and customer requirements. In the future, they aim to become the most successful producers regionally as well as globally.
