Description

The maceration took 10 months in 300 liter oak barrels without added sulfur and other preservatives.

Filling into bottles without flow and filtration, which can contain wine.

It is golden yellow with light straw shades. Gentle scents through macerated grape berries, citrus fruits, wood and dried flowers. Full taste, slightly tanny. Long aftertaste.

Ščurek

Goriška Brda is a hilly region in the far west of Slovenia. In this landscape there is the family estate Ščurek. The winery is located in the village of Plešivo, which belongs to the village community Medana.

Today, with the help of five sons, Stojan cultivates 24 hectares of vineyards. Most of the property is in the Italian part of the Brda, and the best positions are Grotišče, Dugo, Mahober, Jazbine, Jordana, Gredič and Kozlink.

Ščurek offers around 90,000 bottles of premium wine annually. Wine nicely emphasize the identity of the family and the country on which the vine grows. Ščurek: wine, art, story, family, tradition.
