Description

The wine was cold macerated for 6 hours and then matured in steel tanks for a further 6 months.

It is straw yellow in colour with a slight copper tinge. The aromas are reminiscent of ripe pears, grapefruit with delicate floral notes. On the palate it is buttery, higher acidity, fruity.

Ščurek

Goriška Brda is a hilly region in the far west of Slovenia. In this landscape there is the family estate Ščurek. The winery is located in the village of Plešivo, which belongs to the village community Medana.

Today, with the help of five sons, Stojan cultivates 24 hectares of vineyards. Most of the property is in the Italian part of the Brda, and the best positions are Grotišče, Dugo, Mahober, Jazbine, Jordana, Gredič and Kozlink.

Ščurek offers around 90,000 bottles of premium wine annually. Wine nicely emphasize the identity of the family and the country on which the vine grows. Ščurek: wine, art, story, family, tradition.
