Description

The grapes were processed quickly, without aeration and with minimal mechanical stress on the grapes and must. Fermentation took place for three weeks in steel tanks at temperatures below 15ºC.

The wine has a pleasant youthful character and great quality potential. It develops intense aromas of lime and peach, with a hint of basil. The aromas develop and persist nicely. It is not quite dry, has lively acidity but is beautifully balanced.

Verus was founded by three friends, Rajko Žličar, Danilo Šnajder and Božidar Grabovac.

They combined family vineyards, knowledge and work, and in spring 2007 equipped a wine cellar in the premises of the former bakery. They share a commitment to family tradition, since their parents and grandparents have been closely associated with vineyards and wine.
