Description

The grapes were processed quickly, without aeration and with minimal mechanical stress on the grapes and must. Fermentation took place for three weeks in steel tanks at a temperature below 15ºC, where the grapes were ripened. 10% of the wine was fermented and aged on the lees in 3-year-old medium-bodied Seguin Moreau barrique barrels.

A delicate bouquet of cut grass, ferns, apples and peaches. Pleasantly fresh and lively with lots of flavour.

Verus was founded by three friends, Rajko Žličar, Danilo Šnajder and Božidar Grabovac.

They combined family vineyards, knowledge and work, and in spring 2007 equipped a wine cellar in the premises of the former bakery. They share a commitment to family tradition, since their parents and grandparents have been closely associated with vineyards and wine.
