Angel rezerva rdeče

Angel Reserva Red is the best red wine produced by the Batič winery, made only in exceptional years.

The 2021 vintage was marked by a long Indian summer that lasted well into autumn. The Merlot grapes from the Livišče vineyard were harvested in early October. This was followed by three weeks of maceration and then 27 months of aging in selected oak barrels. It was bottled without filtration, in accordance with biodynamic principles and at the appropriate phase of the moon.

It is garnet red in color, with a pronounced bouquet that immediately reveals it to be a rich wine, with aromas of black fruits and blackcurrants. In the mouth, it has an intense burst of aromas, abundant but refined tannins, and a long finish. A true masterpiece.
