Description

After the harvest, the grapes are macerated in the wine vat for about 30 days, classically by dipping the hat. It then goes on to ripening for 6 months in second-hand barriques.

It is ruby red in colour, which takes on an amber hue with age. The characteristic aroma of cherries, blackberries and mulberries gives the merlot from the Goriška brda region its distinctive character. It has a rich fruity flavour with very well integrated tannins. The wine shows the fullness and harmony that have developed in the oak barrels.
