Description

For this wine, the selection of the grapes is carried out on a vineyard-by-vineyard basis before the harvest, followed by a 22-hour maceration period separated by varietal. Maturation takes place in inox tanks for 10 months on fine lees, then in large wooden oak barrels for a further 18 months.

It is golden yellow in colour. Concrete, ripe flowers also honeyed. On the palate, the wine is dry, rich, mineral, oily in texture and not overly aromatic. The higher acidity allows it to age well. With a long finish.

The Dobuje estate is located in the heart of Brda, on the westernmost edge of Slovenia. As a country, it borders Italy, and the vineyards are intertwined with neighbouring Collio without a dividing line.
