Description

Grozdje zanjo prihaja iz jugo-zahodno lege pod vasjo Biljana iz pretežno ilovnate in flišate zemlje iz 30 let starega vinograda. Trgatev je potekala pri optimalni zrelosti grozdja v začetku oktobra. Fermentacija poteka z selekcioniranimi kvasovkami, tri tedenska maceracija pri nadzorovani temperturi. Do stekleničenja zori v rabljenih hrastovih sodih.

V kozarcu dobimo kristalno, zlatorumeno, rahlo jantarno vino. V ustih spominja na citruse, marelice, akacijeve cvetove. Vonj je svež in privlačen, takoj je razvidna sadnost. Zazna se marelice, citruse tudi medene note. V ustih je intenzivna, mehka, topla, elegantna.

In the middle of Goriška Brda is the village of Biljana. Wine house is just under the hill. With a great view over the vineyards, you can see the hill slopes facing west. The warm afternoon summer sun takes care that grapes are really ripe.

They strive to preserve tradition – the knowledge of grandparents with innovation sparkling from love for great taste and quality. They are trying producing wines that represent the character of the land and family’s adventurous spirit.
