Description

The classic method.

After the harvesting of the sparkling grapes is completed, a controlled fermentation and maturation on fine lees for several months follows. Secondary fermentation takes place for at least 20 months.

It is yellow with shades of green. The bubbles are fine and numerous. Youthful and ripe aromas of cinnamon, cloves, roasted hazelnuts and bread crust intermingle.
On the palate it is very dry, with a rich, complex flavour.

Marc

Marc is a family vineyard farm from Slap near Vipava. The vineyards are planted in beautiful sunny locations above the village. Currently, the fourth generation is working in the vineyards.

The village is known as the “village with the most Zelen (autochthonous variety) in the world”, which is why it is given special attention. In addition to autochtonous Zelen, special attention is also paid to the other autochtonous variety Pinela from Vipava, for which the 2019 vintage was awarded with a platinum medal at the Decanter WWA assessment.

The other wines ripening in their cellar also receive respectful attention. Excellent soil, optimal microclimate combined with an ear for vine and wine is their recipe for a successful wine route.
