Description

Grappe for Carolina Noir comes from a more than 20 -year -old vineyard. After the harvest, very mature grapes were macerated for more than a month, and then the wine matured in 225l for two years. Barrique barrels.

It is a gentle pomegranate, the smell of tobacco, coffee. It is medium intense in the mouth, very elegant, tannins are nicely ripe - soft.

The wine has a long and elegant aftertaste.

The Jakončič farm dates back to 1847, when Mihael and Carolina Jakončič planted the first vineyards in the village of Kozana in Goriška Brda, thus laying the foundation for the family winery.
